Queens Birthday weekend marks the opening of the Ski Season at Mt Buller. Just below Mt Buller is the town of Mansfield with Pullins Snow Gear store.
And the opening weekend also marks a traditional snow gear sale all weekend at Pullins in Mansfield. We've been going to this sale since the kids were tiny. There is not as much second hand ex rental gear nowadays but there are always great bargains on last years stock or ex demo equipment.
Pullins Shop
Love the fitout and layout of the Pullins shop. Snowboard boots and clothes upstairs. The hire gear, skis, ski boots and snowboards all downstairs. On the Queens Birthday Snow sale they also have marquees outside in the car park with loadds of snow jackets, snow pants, gloves and hats.
As examples of some great discounts this last Queens Birthday weekend sale. Excellent ski gloves that were last years stock were marked at $100. Final price down to $60. Some of last seasons snowboard bindings a further 20% off an already discounted price. One year we picked up a kids snowboard as an ex rental for $50. Adults ex rental snowboards were $100 that year. But sometimes you have to be lucky.
